Primary Health Center

Problem:

Some people don’t get the health care services they need because they don’t have health insurance or live too far away from providers who offer them.  So Zahrat Al Sawasan has Interventions to increase access to health care services — like lowering costs and increasing the use of telehealth — that can help more people get the care they need.

Zahrat Al Sawsan Primary Health Care Al Sawsan Medical Center, owned by the Zahrat Al Sawsan charity organization,  is a primary health care center (PHCC) located in Jabal Mohsen - Tripoli.  Zahret Al Sawsan receives patients from all north without any discrimination.

The center provides the following services to vulnerable people in Tripoli and for refugees ( Syrians and Palestinians).

General Medication Examination, Specialist Medication Examination, Free Vaccination Free Medicine Our specialists are General Medicine, General Surgery, Pediatrics, Cardiology, Gynecology, Neuropathology, Orthopedics, Endocrinology, Urology, Pulmonary, Medicine Dentistry, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, and Vaccination.

  • Our center includes Laboratory - Supervised by Midel East Radiography - Supervised by Dr. Talal Helwi. 
  • MHPSS and PSS, Health care, nutrition awareness session, and referral.
  • The center has contracts with the Lebanese Ministry of Health and YMCA.

Objectives:

is to support the Community to become self-reliant and capable of leading their own development journeys without any discrimination We make progress toward this by reducing the reach of conflict, preventing the spread of pandemic disease, and counteracting the drivers of violence, and instability.

We develop our Strategies to make sure we are aware of treatment guidelines and recommended services are also key to improving health. 

We are looking always to coordinate with INGO and donors to help us to provide the service and to develop our skills.

Zahrat Al Sawsan PHCC receives nearly 1,000 patients every month, but we have more than 1,000 requests for service and we cannot provide them because we have a lack of support.
